Republican National Convention: Night Three

Ran across a new toy today, so I’m going to attempt to liveblog tonight’s festivities at the Convention. Should be interesting, as I’ll be commuting during the majority of the program. Afterwards (or during the major speeches, in case of failure), I’ll provide some more coherent commentary.

Gov. Palin speaks tonight to accept the nomination, and apparently John McCain’s in town:

McCain flew into the Twin Cities, arriving about noon at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. He was met on the tarmac by among others his wife, Cindy, and Palin and her family.

That included Palin’s pregnant teenage daughter, Bristol, and father-to-be Levi Johnston. McCain gave Bristol numerous hugs, patted Johnston on the arm and spoke with the couple longer than any of the others in the greeting line.

The picture of McCain greeting Bristol and Levi, though, is the money shot:

Big scandal there, huh?

Link to the liveblog is here, and I’ll be kicking off around 7:30:
